This original artwork is inspired by the timeless beauty of the Madhurashtakam, the celebrated hymn composed by Sri Vallabhacharya in praise of Lord Krishna. Every verse of the hymn proclaims that everything about Krishna—His smile, words, flute, footsteps, and divine presence—is madhuram (sweet), expressing the boundless sweetness of divine love.
The flowing Sanskrit verses spiral through the composition, creating a visual rhythm that echoes the continuous chanting of the hymn. Concentric forms and vibrant colours symbolize devotion, harmony, and the infinite nature of Krishna’s presence, drawing the viewer inward toward a meditative centre.
